Quran Reciter Tutor is built so you can improve your Quran reading skills anytime and anywhere without handing over your voice or your practice history.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your name, bookmarks, reading history, settings, and recitation results locally on your device. This information is used only to provide app features and help you continue your learning.

The Qur'an text is bundled with the app and read on-device. We do not require an account or sign-in to use the app.

Microphone and recitation audio

The app requests microphone permission so you can record your recitation after tapping Record.

Microphone access is used to record your recitation and to draw the live audio waveform; it is active only while you are recording or playing audio in the app.

Your recitation audio is processed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

By default, your recitation audio is used only for feedback and is not kept.

You can turn on “Save my recitation audio” (Settings → Recite settings) to keep your recordings on your device and replay them later. Saved recordings stay in the app's private storage, are never uploaded, and can be deleted from the result screen or by clearing your history.

Internet use

Internet access is required to play Quran recitation audio because the app loads Quran audio from online sources.

Internet access is also required once to download the offline voice model used for recitation feedback (and, if you use the 99 Names of Allah practice, its one-time content pack). The model is fetched from a model host or, if that is unavailable, our content delivery network.

When you open Tafsir (commentary) or word-by-word meanings, the app loads that text from the public quran.com API. This is optional and only happens when you view those screens.

Online audio, model, and content providers may receive basic technical request information, such as your IP address, to deliver those files. The app does not send them your recitation audio or your personal app data.

The app checks for a working connection before these actions and shows a gentle message if you are offline, instead of failing silently.

Network requests for app resources are made over HTTPS where available.

No ads, tracking, or sale of data

The app does not show ads.

The app does not use analytics tracking.

The app does not sell personal or sensitive user data.

We do not share your locally stored app data or recitation audio with third parties.

Notifications and reminders

If you turn on the daily practice reminder, the app asks for notification permission and shows a local reminder at the time you choose. This is optional and off until you enable it.

Reminders are scheduled and shown entirely on your device. No notification or reminder data is uploaded, and the app does not send push notifications from a server.

So a reminder you set still fires after a restart, the app re-registers your scheduled reminder when your device reboots. You can turn reminders off at any time in Settings.

Optional tips (in-app purchases)

The app is free. It offers an optional “Support the developer” tip that you can choose to give — it is never required to use any feature.

Tips are processed entirely by Google Play billing. The app does not collect, receive, or store your payment card or billing details.

Google Play handles the transaction and its own privacy terms apply to the payment. The app only learns whether a tip completed, so it can show a thank-you.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you clear it in the app, clear the app's storage from Android settings, or uninstall the app. This includes your name, bookmarks, history, settings, and recitation results.

Because the app does not create user accounts, there is no online account deletion process.

Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can help.
