Reference recitation audio is streamed from EveryAyah.com — reciters: Abdul Basit Abdus-Samad, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mohamed Siddiq Al-Minshawy, and Abdurrahman As-Sudais. Abdul Basit's recitation also uses IslamiCity.org (islamicity.org) as a backup audio source.
Word-by-word recitation timing comes from the quran-align project by Collin Fair, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Source: github.com/cpfair/quran-align
Tafsir (commentary) and word-by-word meanings are loaded from the public quran.com API — editions include Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Abridged), Ma'arif al-Qur'an, and Tazkirul Quran.
Typefaces: Plus Jakarta Sans and Amiri, both used under the SIL Open Font License.

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. The offline voice model is not perfect and can make mistakes — please use it as a practice helper, not a final judge of your recitation (see the Disclaimer).
